About our Whittier sunroom contractor and crew

Who we are, how I learned this trade and what you can expect from us before, during and after your room goes up.

Sunroom addition with exposed brick walls, timber ceiling beams, large windows, wicker seating and leafy plants.

How I got into building rooms

I learned this trade under a strict old-school builder who made me tear out and redo anything that wasn't level and square. It was slow going back then, but it stuck. He taught me that the parts nobody sees, like the base under a room and the spot where it meets your house, are where a job is won or lost. I started this business in Whittier in 2021 to build sunrooms, patio enclosures, screen rooms and patio covers that way.

Most people who call us have a patio, slab or deck they want to use more of the year. Around here your address might sit in the city or in an unincorporated county community like West Whittier-Los Nietos, and that changes who handles the permit. So I explain every choice before you sign. Sound like a lot of talking? It's how you end up with a room you actually use.

What you can count on from us

  1. You deal with the owner the whole way

I come out myself to look at the job, measure and talk it through with you. I explain each option in plain words, so you know what you're choosing and why before anything is signed.

  2. We check what your room will sit on

We look hard at your slab, deck or patio before we plan anything on it, because a room is only as good as the base carrying it. Our own small crew does the building, and I'm on site checking level and square as the work goes up.

  3. We handle the permit and the inspector

We check your address early so we know whether the city or LA County Public Works will handle the job, since the county issues permits in unincorporated areas. We take care of the paperwork, meet the inspector for the visits and keep you posted on where things stand.

Our license and insurance

Serving Whittier Since 2021

  • California contractor license

Licensed and insured. The state requires a contractor license from anyone who builds or alters a structure when the project needs a building permit, uses any extra workers or runs $1,000 or more in labor and materials, and a sunroom job usually meets more than one of those. Whittier also requires a city business license from anyone doing business in the city, even from an address outside it, and the city checks the contractor's state license on that application.
